近日，浙江大学徐建明教授团队通过对全球1,800多个土壤宏基因组数据进行分析，构建获得超过8万条病毒序列（种水平），首次探究了全球尺度下土壤病毒的生物地理分布格局与驱动因子。此项研究成果为我们解析了土壤中病毒群落的多样性和其生态分布规律及群落组装机制，为未来深入探讨土壤病毒生态功能奠定了坚实的基础。
